';Your hair is broken inside'; said my hairdresser. What??

How can my hair be broken inside? What can i do about it?';Your hair is broken inside'; said my hairdresser. What??
You probably have a lot of breakage. Continue to deep condition and keep harsh products out of your hair. Let your new growth come in without damaging it.';Your hair is broken inside'; said my hairdresser. What??
I'd be wary. Did he/she immediately try to sell you some product that stops internal hair breaking?

Then again, they could have be commenting on your hair's mental state. ;-)
I would say it means that the structure is weak. Have you overprocessed it . . . or do you do a lot of things to your hair? I would use Aussie's three minute miracle on it once per week, and let your hair rest from coloring or perming. At least it is a good time of year to wear hats, and keep it covered or protected. Do not use a comb on it when it is wet to avoid breakage. Eat and drink protein foods, and take a good multivitamin.
ask the hairdresser what did she mean. Maybe its an offensive term...
it means that the quality of your hair sucks and the roots are crappy.
Hair is made up of 3 layers..

I wont go into details

The layer she is talking about it called the cortex, it's responsible for the elasticity of your hair, in other words if your hair breaks alot and it fairly weak this is what she really meant, perhaps she was trying to confuse you =)

I recommend buying this..
