give me a definition for the following hairdressing terms
angled finger position, design line, dropping, lifting, guide line, projection angle, radial section, travelling design lineIn hairdresser terminology what is a design line?
-finger position is the position your fingers will point when cutting hair
-a design line is the outline of your cut
-dropping im not sure of
-lifting is lifting the hair to cut in a layer
-a guide line is the first line you cut and you use it as a guide
-projection angle is the amount of degrees you lift the hair to form layers also
-a radial section is a section that is skinny at the top and fat at the bottom
- travelling design line is the same as your design line but it moves
may i ask why you want to know this as the only reason i know it is because i went to hairdressing school to learn it?
