Im a fairly dark brunette and i want to change my look to an ash blonde. I have a friend whose a hairdresser that has told me it would take a very long time to get there not only from the darkness of my hair but also from the length (about 15cm below shoulders). Still if there is anyone who could give me more of a number, being salon visits or months for how long it would actually take as my friend has always been sketchy on the details.Hairdresser question, going brunette to blonde?
they have to say that...but my hair was dark brown and it only took about 30mins to go blonde (and it is really light blonde)Hairdresser question, going brunette to blonde?
Well the sketchiness is for a reason- it's hard to put an amount of time on the bleaching process none are the same.
Going from dark brunette to an ash blonde is going to take a long time. You need to leave a few weeks between every bleaching so it could take as long as 6months to do, mabey longer with the length of your hair.
The salon visits aren't really possible to put a number on either- everything really depends on how quickly the bleach works on your hair.
When I wanted to do that I went internet searching for info...this is the site I liked that had alot of info about the whole deal...read and enjoy...good luck

What you want to do is called double processing and is quite involved and even entails a scary orange hair phase...it is do-able though...
It depends if they are bleaching your hair
and also how thick and the strength of the bleach.
btw if you got dark eyebrows
i wouldnt go blonde unless u pluck them thin .
but good luck
i bet it will look nice :)
