Hair color advice please!! I had my hair cut and the hairdresser cut more?

off than I had asked, anyway when I got home I noticed you could see a few grey strands on top so I went and bought colorsilk strawberry blonde, my hair is naturally light brown, well the color is as described only it's a little too bright, is there anything I can do to tone the color down? I am 40, I should have just left the little grey I had in and waited to have it done professionally any advice much appreciated, Happy New Year!!Hair color advice please!! Sallys Beauty carries some toner. And I have seen something at Walmart by Revlon or Loreal that takes the brassiness out. That could possibly work, it also has extra shine. If strawberry blonde is too much, try the other way, A Medium Ash Blonde, but stay away from the light blondes or you may end up looking a little tacky.

For one, If she cut off more than you wanted time to find a different hair dresser. Second, GO TO A PROFESSIONAL!!!! Like they say... STORE BOUGHT COLOR IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATE, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOUR GOING TO GET!!!!
