I've thought about taking a photo but what if they mess it up :(

xxxWhat would I say to my Hairdresser?
chopped layers that start at like your cheek bones and go all around your head, nd to get it like hers just straighten it and teaseWhat would I say to my Hairdresser?
I had someone come in to me this week and ASK will my hair be able to do this!!! That is the key, yes bring your picture it does help us hairdressers. If he/she knows you he/she will be able to tell you if it will style like the picture. BUT you need to ask yourself are YOU going to get up every day and fix it like this or is this going to be weekend hair? The style is just a very textured hair cut most likely with a razor. If you have any wave or curl in your hair DO NOT let them use a razor on your hair. It won't be good. Trust me I learned the hard way, I have curly hair and I didn't listen to my own advice. You can ask him /her to cut it so that it looks jagged or textured or choppy they are all the same. Well depending on which part of the country you live in. Don't be afraid to ask and speak up you will be happier then if you said nothing.

One more thing I would suggest that you do not go to a place like the salon in wal-mart or Sup** cuts they are mostly right out of school and they are still learning. Go to a reputable salon ask your mom who she uses or your best friend.
it's called fake with layered unoriginality,

oh and just explaining the haircut would give the hairstylist a higher chance of messing up, but i would be embarassed to bring a photo like that to my hairstylist.
Just take the picture. You have a better chance of getting your hair messed up if you just tell them. If you take a picture, they will at least have a visual reference, and they will be able to cut it correctly. =]
Theyre more likely to get it right if they have the photo then if someone is trying to describe the cut. Just take it in with you.
tell them you want a lot of layers and to make it choppy and use the razor on your hair. take a picture too. it works for me.
Print out the picture and ask them if they can make this hairdo.
its called chopped.
