What do i tell my hairdresser if i want an emo/scene haircut?

i want a emo/scene haircut. But i dont know what to tell my hairdresser

Well if you want a specific one, take a picture.





But for a general emo/scene cut, tell her you want a lot of layers, and make the first layer pretty short. Tell her you want choppy side bangs. And tell her you want it cut with a razor, not scissors.





That's what I get done when I go and I love it.

just find a picture of a hairstyle you like. print it out and show it to them.





if not. then just tell them you want side bangs with short layers at the top for volume and have your hair thinned out...
