I need to know how old do need to be to go to become a hairdresser?

i am in year 9 and i hate school i want to become a hair dresser what else can you become at the age of 15 or 16I need to know how old do need to be to go to become a hairdresser?

If you want to be a hair dresser, you've got to finish high school and go on to a school for cosmetics and hair styling.


All states have a minimum age at which you can drop out of high school, which is no less than 16, and for many not until you turn 18.


If you do drop out, you lose your license until you're 18 or 19, and most jobs require you to either still be in school or have some form of high school diploma (GED or h.s. diploma), so you won't be able to work anyways.


As for now, if you really want a job wait until the summer, then start looking in the paper for jobs at places like Starbucks and Cold Stone and fast food restaurants because those are the places that hire young workers.I need to know how old do need to be to go to become a hairdresser?
In the UK you can leave school at 16.. if a hairdresser will take you on you can train that way.. of you can go to college also at 16 to do hairdressing.
probally 20 because you have to go to college for stuff like that
